There is a lot of pre convention buzz going on.

I was fortunate to attend a private briefing with David Plouffe, Senator Obama’s Campaign Manager, and let me tell you – we are going to win this thing.

If Sunday was any indication of the party scene, it’s going to be a great week. The Friends of New Orleans event had thousands of people, great food. San Francisco’s own Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi was mobbed everywhere she went. After that, Peninsula delegate Matt Haney and I headed over to the African American and Beyond Committee’s celebration where we met Reverend Al Sharpton. I had every intention of calling it a night, and then ran into City Attorney Dennis Herrera at the bar of the hotel. Marisa Moret, David Serrano Sewell and I headed over to State Senator Alex Padilla’s party, where we saw Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa.

This morning it all starts with the California Delegation’s breakfast with Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, and I hear there is a special guest from New York who will stop by…….
