That’s right.   For those of you I haven’t seen, I am headed to D.C.  To answer the most important questions:  I am staying with good friends Russ Paulsen and Ann Mosher and their two little girls, Ellen and Claire at their home in Bethesda, Maryland.  Russ, Ann and I met through San Francisco politics years ago.  Julia is joining me.

We have tickets to the inauguration.   Not sure if we are placed in a seated or standing section yet.  We also have tickets to the west/southwest official ball.  We’ll be going to the California event on Sunday, and possibly the lgbt event Tuesday night (though it’s at the same time as the official ball…..)
